This soothing spray features witch hazel, yarrow & lavender. This is the bottle we grab whenever we go out into the woods! Whether we are hiking, camping or chopping firewood, we often find ourselves facing sun, wind, bugs, & potential cuts/wounds.
Yarrow & lavender act to keep bugs at bay, and the addition of witch hazel helps to soothe irritated skin if you get bit by something. We recently took a trip through Idaho & Montana and this was our trusty sidekick through some pretty buggy territory.
This combination of herbs can also help to sooth skin that has spent too much time in the sun/wind.
Yarrow is a powerful styptic and may be helpful when needing to staunch blood flow. For this reason, we keep this handy when cutting firewood.
And lastly, because of the astringent nature of witch hazel & yarrow, this spray could also be used topically to tonify lax tissues (i.e. hemorrhoids/varicose veins).
